Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer is an important player within music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 received an Colombian Kids Choice Award as Favorite Song in 2017. In 2017, he released ADN which was his debut long-player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. In the Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. The following year he became part of Ozuna on the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. The group released Dopamina the chart-topping second album, in the year following. In 2021, he performed as a duo TINI for her hit stream track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the smash hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a renowned musician, born in a musical home. Both his parents were both musicians. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. While a youngster, was playing the ukulele and piano. His initial choice of career was to be a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban instructor.
