Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. When she was a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Her voice is called by no less of talented than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like older versions. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a significant commercial and critical success that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in 2022, as a result of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed on her own in the show. Motomami, Rosalia's album that was awarded three Latin Grammy Awards also made her the first female to win won the Latin Album of the Year award twice.
