Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri is an Indian actress who has gained notoriety for her roles in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. In the late 80s, she began her acting career and became popular with the role of Tezaab which she played alongside veteran actor Anil Kapooor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir as part of Dil. A middle-class family was raised in Mumbai she started learning dance at an early age. She started acting when an infant and was struggling through a couple of years since many of her early film projects were unsuccessful. The actress gained fame and was one of India's top movie actresses. Following her wedding the actress took time away from performing prior to returning. Dixit played an important role as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to her. She is known for her work in the field of social service as well.
